5 reasons to learn the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu

Boruto: Naruto the Movie features Boruto, son of Naruto (wow those ninjas have really grown up, haven’t they?). Like his father, Boruto can also use the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, which allows him to create multiple clones of himself, which is a really useful skill to have in real life.

It’s no wonder everyone who watched Naruto wanted to become a ninja. You could learn the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and it wouldn’t just be handy for fighting! Here are five reasons why we all aspire to become a Hokage and learn this special technique that allows you to clone yourself.

1) For studying

You can absorb the information that each clone learns. This would come in especially handy for last minute cramming. Clone yourself, and each clone can cover one subject. You can study four times as fast (with a clone for each of the four subjects, English, Maths, Science and Mother Tongue) for the upcoming PSLE. The only limit you have would be the number of textbooks available to you, as you can’t have two clones reading the same textbook at once.

Meanwhile, you, the original, can secretly play computer games while your clones study.

2) To lose weight

Losing weight is very simple, as any doctor will tell you. Use more calories than you consume. The Kage Bunshin no Jutsu uses up a lot of a person’s chakra, which means that it also burns a lot of calories quickly. There’s no faster exercise than cloning yourself, absorbing your clones, then cloning yourself again. In fact, in conjunction with point 1, you can study faster and lose weight, all at the same time! Who says ninjitsu is a waste of time?

3) Clear the high wall in SOC (Standard Obstacle Course)

Ah, the high wall, the bane of any soldier going through the SOC. There’s nothing in the rules that say you can’t create multiple clones to help you scale the wall (since technically, the clones are still you). So multiply yourself, hoist yourself over the wall, and clear your SOC in record time!

4) Try on multiple outfits while shopping

Stop me if you’ve had this dilemma before. You bring several outfits into the changing room. You put on outfit A, then you try on outfit B. But you can’t quite remember how you looked like with outfit A, so you change out of outfit B and into outfit A. Now you can’t remember how you looked like with outfit B, and you change back, ad infinitum.

The Kage Bunshin no Jutsu will solve all that! Just have each clone try on a different outfit, and you’ll have an instant comparison of how you look like in different clothes. The changing room will be a squeeze though.

5) Create instant applause

If you’re a bad comedian, then the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu will definitely help you along. Create an instant audience that will bring uproarious applause to every bad joke you tell, and your real audience will think that you’re pretty funny, even if they aren’t laughing at your jokes. Then again, if you’ve mastered the skill already, maybe you’re more cut out to be a ninja than a comedian.
