A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip struck an uninhabited open area outside of Jerusalem on Friday, causing no damage or injuries, the Israeli army said, shortly after sirens wailed across the city. "A rocket fired from Gaza hit an open area outside of Jerusalem, causing no injuries or damage," a military spokesman told AFP.
