Petaling Jaya (The Star/ANN) - Budget airlines AirAsia X is offering promotional rates from as low as 255 ringgit (US$85) each way for selected international routes until Thursday.
The offers are valid for online bookings made for the travel period from Feb 6 to June 20 next year.
The promotion is held in conjunction with the long-haul budget airline's achievement in surpassing the five million customer mark since its first flight in November 2007.
"With just one destination in 2007 to 15 destinations to date, we have flown over five million guests across 10 countries.
"We expect passenger numbers to multiply within the next two years once the airline takes delivery of its five new Airbus A330s which will be deployed to new destinations across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
"This amazing achievement would not have been possible without the support of our guests," AirAsia X chief executive officer Azran Osman-Rani said in a statement.
The promotion covered one-way all-in fares from as low as 255 ringgit to Hangzhou, Tianjin and Chengdu (China); Bombay and New Delhi (India); Incheon (Korea) and Haneda (Japan).
One-way tickets to Australian destinations will start from 305 ringgit (Perth) and 355 ringgit (Melbourne and Gold Coast), while prices to Taipei, Taiwan and Christchurch, New Zealand will begin at 305 ringgit and 455 ringgit respectively.
The airline's online travel portal AirAsiaGo will also offer package deals, covering three-night hotel stay with return flights, from as low as 719 ringgit.
