AJ leaves U-Kiss temporarily

2 Aug - After the recent revelation of his acceptance into the prestigious Columbia University, it was announced that AJ will be taking a break from U-Kiss to focus on his studies.

As reported on Allkpop website, the singer made the announcement himself at the "U-KISS 1st JAPAN LIVE TOUR 2012" – marking his final activity with U-Kiss before leaving his studies.

Meanwhile, U-Kiss agency, NH Media stated, "Yes, AJ will be leaving the team for a while to focus on his studies in the U.S. The concert in Japan this month will be his last activity with the team."

They also stated that despite AJ leaving to the US, it's not a permanent one.

They continued, "He will be staying in the U.S. for five months for his studies and plans to rejoin the group early next year."
