Alberta Ferretti has signed a four-year sunglasses deal.
The Italian fashion designer will team up with Cutler and Gross for the range, after finalising a licensing deal with the company.
The new line will include six different styles of shades. Fashion fans will get their first glimpse of what is on offer during the label’s Fall/Winter 12 presentation at the upcoming Milan Fashion Week.
“The sunglasses, which will feature clean, linear shapes and which will be embellished with handmade decorations, will be sold worldwide at both Alberta Ferretti flagship stores and the Cutler and Gross boutiques,” reports WWD.
It is the second time Alberta has worked on a range of sunglasses. In 2008, the designer brought out a collection with Elite Group SpA.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that the Italian designer is creating a range for US store Macy’s. It will be available from April with prices ranging from $49 to $119.
Karl Lagerfeld previously teamed up with the store.
