Alec Baldwin weds yoga teacher in New York

Alec Baldwin has married fiancée Hilaria Thomas in a star-studded New York service yesterday.

The actor tied the knot with the yoga teacher in a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Patrick's Old Cathedral surrounded by A-List friends and family.

The beautiful brunette was watched by the likes of Tina Fey, Woody Allen and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as she walked down the aisle.

Alec’s 16-year-old daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland, joined his two brothers Stephen and William 'Billy' Baldwin in celebrating her father’s marriage.

"Hilaria Thomas and Alec Baldwin [shared] the occasion with family and friends inside the Cathedral and Alec warmly receiving congratulations from well-wishing fans on his way into the service,” spokesman Matthew Hiltzik told the New York Post.

None of the 200 guests had received paper invites but were informed of the time and location of the nuptials by text message.

Hilaria looked stunning in a silk magnolia trumpet gown by designer Amsale, which featured cap sleeves and a keyhole back neckline with crystal buttons. Alec wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford.

After the ceremony guests were invited to continue the celebrations on the top floor of the Kimmel Center at New York University, were both Thomas and Baldwin were students.

The venue was decorated with white roses, hydrangeas and calla lilies and served organic wedding cake.

Hours before the wedding, Alec had taken to Twitter to post lines from a poem by Emily Dickinson, ’Twas a Long Parting.

"Was bridal e'er like this? A paradise, the host, And cherubim and seraphim The most familiar guest," one read.

Alec and Hilaria began dating last summer and became engaged this April.
