Alicia Silverstone had a “crush” on her Clueless co-star when she was younger.
The 35-year-old actress starred alongside Jeremy Sisto in the 1995 American comedy film. The pair have since reunited to appear together on ABC’s Suburgatory, where they play love interests.
The stars have since admitted to their feelings on set of Clueless.
“We definitely had a crush on each other,” Jeremy told Access Hollywood. “It was very innocent and very cute and nothing was done about it, but there were hands [that] almost touched at times.
“It was cute.”
Alicia agreed with the sentiment.
“Yes, we definitely [did]. I think we really liked each other a lot, but we were very respectful. We didn’t do anything bad.”
The pair didn’t act on their impulses. They were both in relationships, so respected that fact.
“It was a special time… Everything was magical and exciting,” Jeremy said.
“We had a cool friendship, [but] were both involved, I was married actually and she was with someone.”
Alicia is now happily wed to Christopher Jarecki and had her first child in May of last year. Jeremy is also married with a child.
Alicia treasured her time with Jeremy on set though.
“We just spent a lot of time together and really enjoyed each other. I think there was a moment where we almost [took it further,] and then we didn’t because we were being responsible young adults,” she added.
“But there were a lot of feelings.”
