Andrej Pejic models the Spring/Summer 2012 Nathan Paul Campaign
Grazia Team Beauty do love a bit of model gossip you know. Well, after hanging out with them backstage at Fashion Week, we hear one or two juicy stories that get us intrigued. But this latest model news has taken us by surprise.
Supermodel Andrej Pejic (y'know, the male model with gorgeously feminine looks?) has just been signed as the face of Jean Paul Gaultier’s new fragrance - for men. The new cologne, named Kokorico, is bound to be a winner and is the first male scent that the designer has made since he launched Le Male 16 years ago. Exciting stuff, no?
This is also the first beauty campaign for Pejic, who has gone from strength to strength since walking on Jean Paul Gaultier's AW11 catwalk and appearing in Marc Jacobs’ campaign.

Andrej Pejic and Karolina Kurkova model the Spring/Summer 2012 Jean Paul Gaultier Campaign
The fragrance campaign has already been shot by British photographer Matthew Stone and although Pejic is a controversial choice, it suits the brand down to the ground. Quirky yet sexy, we think androgynous Pejic is a perfect fit and he's already modelled in the brand's Spring Summer 2012 campaign alongside Karolina Kurkova [above]. Plus, it's no secret Jean Paul Gaultier is known for his controversy-courting ways. Who could forget the designer's couture show in Paris that presented a collection dedicated to singer Amy Winehouse six months after her death.
So what say you to the choice?
