Angelica Lee rumoured to star in new HKTV series

16 Jul – Two months after her husband's infidelity made headlines, Malaysian-born actress Angelica Lee finally returns to work.

Aside from completing the dubbing work for her upcoming Sylvia Chang's movie, "Lim Lim", the actress was also spotted in Hong Kong recently. She was rumoured to be meeting with HKTV CEO Ricky Wong for a drama project.

According to Yes Entertainment, Ricky reportedly offered Angelica a lead role in his upcoming online drama, "Storm", for a pay of over HKD 100,000 (approximately USD 12,903) per episode. Allegedly, if she agrees, all her expenses, including a five-star accommodation, will be paid for by the company.

The drama will have around 20 to 30 episodes, with a hefty production budget to boot. If things go according to plan, filming will reportedly commence at the end of this month.

Angelica has yet to respond on the rumours at the time of writing.
