Sri Lanka military says bus bomb explosion near capital wounds 40 people

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - The Sri Lankan military says a bomb explosion on a passenger bus near the capital has wounded at least 40 people.

Military spokesman Brig. Udaya Nanayakkara says the bomb has exploded on a passenger bus in Moratuwa, near Sri Lanka capital Colombo.

He blamed separatist Tamil Tigers for the blast.
