Arisaka Kurume delivers first child

7 Sep - Japanese actress Arisaka Kurume has delivered a boy for her first child, according to Tokyo Hive.

The 32-year-old actress announced that she had given birth to a son on 2 September, who weighs 3.1 kilogrammes.

"Childbirth is magnificent! The labour pains were more painful than I expected~. But the moment I held my own cute child, the painful memory melted away like ice cream," she wrote on her official blog.

Kurume announced her pregnancy in May, after being married to a businessman in February last year. She had reportedly stated that she hoped to deliver her first child before she turned 35, and wanted to have two children.
