Marcel Duchamp: La Peinture, Même

Hokusai

The work of Katsushika Hokusai is world famous, if only because of his iconic print, "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" (~1830). Such is the fragility of conserved pieces that the exhibition will be closed for a ten-day stretch between November 21 and 30, during which time 100 objects will be replaced in order to protect the most delicate artifacts.
