June 16 sees the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's most famous endurance race. Look out for the return of Toyota this year, the Japanese brand returning to the circuit for the first time in over a decade.

One of the world's greatest endurance races returns for its 80th anniversary year. A new addition this year is hybrid braking zones, to help the four hybrid entries on the 56-car grid recover power through their electronic systems.
EyesOnDesign Car Show
Thanks to its home in Motor City and long-running association with the North American International Motor Show, the EyesOnDesign awards have gained a considerable cachet when it comes to automotive design. this one day show will feature over 200 vehicles and will be judged by designers themselves.
European Grand Prix
This could be the last time Spain hosts the European Grand Prix, which will rotate through other countries from next year, if current plans are approved. It's also likely to be the last time Valencia is the sole host of the Spanish Grand Prix, and it will share the responsibility with Barcelona from 2013.
