Bernice Liu stars in "Lost in the Pacific"
13 Apr – Former TVB actress Bernice Liu was revealed to have been cast in the upcoming Sino-Hollywood film, "Lost in the Pacific".
According to HK Channel, the actress, who has a dance and martial arts background, reportedly plays an assassin in the movie, which stars "Superman Returns" actor Brandon Routh and "CJ7" actress Kitty Zhang.
Sources claimed that director Vincent Zhou has decided to cast Bernice in the film due to her English fluency and experience in action flicks, since Bernice had worked with Maggie Q in "The King of Fighters" before.
She was also rumoured to have been paid HKD 1million (USD129,031) to star in the film.
However, when asked to confirm the remuneration rumours, her agency declined to comment, though confirmed that Bernice is currently filming in Malaysia.
