Blake Lively ‘very domestic’

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds reportedly “knew they were headed for marriage”.

The pair secretly got married over the weekend in South Carolina at the picturesque setting where romantic movie The Notebook was filmed.

Blake and Ryan, who were dating for about one year before becoming wed, share a home together just outside of New York.

The couple were reportedly prepping to go down the aisle since they purchased their house about six months ago.

"They knew they were headed for marriage when they bought the house together," a source told People magazine.

"They've been nesting for quite a while now. They moved to the suburbs which has a pretty conservative lifestyle."

Apparently Blake and Ryan are making every effort to make their quaint $2 million family home as comfortable as possible.

Flashy Hollywood décor does not at all appeal to the newlyweds.

"They also picked a very traditional kind of house for people who work in Hollywood. They wanted a house with character, not a trendy, modern house. Their place is very homey. [Lively] is very domestic," the source revealed.

"[Blake] has been shopping for her new home. She is interested in vintage, one of a kind pieces.”
