As nine days of intense campaigning draw to a close, the four Presidential candidates have debated over the role of the Presidency, raised suggestions on the changes they would like to see and shared their thoughts on hot-button issues.
The four candidates, in alphabetical order, are: former Member of Parliament for Ayer Rajah Tan Cheng Bock, 71; investment advisor Tan Jee Say, 57; former deputy prime minister Tony Tan Keng Yam, 71; and former NTUC Income chief Tan Kin Lian, 63.
Since July, Yahoo! Singapore has met with three of the four candidates for a one-on-one session where they each explain their reasons for joining the presidential race and what they stand for.
We also approached Dr Tony Tan's campaign team to seek an interview but were unable to secure a one-on-one session.
With Polling Day just a day away, the time has come for Singaporeans to play their part in the nation's most hotly-contest presidential election and decide who will be Singapore's seventh President.
