Ever wondered whether Emma Watson is secretly a bad girl? It’s time to find out…

Emma Watson comes across as a pretty clean-living, intelligent, well-behaved starlet, but Harper's Bazaar UK has got the actress embracing her bad side for their August issue. The 'Harry Potter' star might have grown up on the big screen, but she's managed to avoid falling into that child star cliché of sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll. Surely there must be a smidge of naughtiness in there, though?

As it turns out, the answer is no. Emma tells the mag: "There has never been room in my life for that [rebellion] - I couldn't imagine giving my family any more trouble, it's already been complicated enough." Bless!

Emma isn't a pushover, however, and hit back at rumours she left Brown because of bullying. In fact, the actress says she's never been bullied. However, she does get intimidated by certain things, like LA, which she says "scares the crap" out of her with its calorie counting, botox injections and gym obsession. We're with you on that one!

When it comes to acting bad, this good girl has got a challenge ahead of her. Emma says she "almost broke down in tears" when her acting tutor tried to get her to be angry, because she keeps that part of her under wraps. She says: "I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing — and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it's scary for me." The actress even says playing the bad girl in this shoot "didn't come naturally at all". Don't worry Em, we love you just the way you are!

The full feature appears in the August issue of Harper's Bazaar UK, on sale Thursday 7th July.
