A mother’s touching love for her blind, one-year-old son

A mother's love for her child knows no boundary.

One-year-old Christian was born blind. A rare form of cleft palate robbed him of his sense of sight.

But what it hasn't robbed him of is the unconditional love from his parents. In particular, his mother, Lacey Buchanan.

She loves him so much that she is now also proudly showing him off to the rest of the world.

In a moving seven-minute video uploaded onto files-sharing site YouTube, Buchanan talks about the struggles she faces while taking care of her only son.

Narrated using handwritten cards, she also reveals the love story she shares with Christian's father.

Since it was posted in March, the video has attracted more than one million views and the clicks are still coming.

In a particularly touching scene, she holds up little Christian to face the camera and kisses him, proudly showing him off to the world.
