Who Knew? Prep for the marathon

As you get prepped for that marathon, it is of utmost importance to learn to properly warm up and cool down. Without these exercises, you run the risk of tearing a muscle, or being sore for days after the event. For a quick lesson, join trainer Sandeep Sachdev as he demonstrates some effective dynamic and static stretches before long-distance running.

Once you've crossed that finish line, take a couple of minutes to cool down. After all, there's nothing worse than muscle soreness to take the fun out of a good celebration! A 10-15 minute cool off will ensure your muscles recover and don't cramp up later on.

Keep these handy tips in mind, and go conquer that marathon! Good luck!
