Cecilia Cheung's new man works at USS
28 Nov – Previously, it was reported that Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung has been seen on friendly terms with a Caucasian man on her vacation in Singapore, but it seems that her new love is actually a Beijing-born performer at Universal Studios Singapore.
According to The New Paper, the so-called Caucasian man is Hero Zhang, a 26-year-old Chinese man who is working at the renowned theme park in Sentosa Island. Hero came to Singapore four years ago after graduating from the Capital Institute of Physical Education in Beijing and is currently waiting for approval on his Permanent Resident status application.
The two first met when Cheung went to East Coast Park in Singapore to do wakeboarding at a jet-ski park, where Hero also hangs out.
"When I first saw her, I recognised her, went up to her and started talking about water sports. She was very nice and friendly and had no airs at all. We found out we could really talk and we chatted for a long time about everything under the sun. A few weeks ago, when she came here for another holiday, we went to East Coast Park again."
He added, "I like her, I really like her. She is a goddess who looks beautiful without make-up."
However, when asked to confirm if this meant that he is dating the 33-year-old actress, Hero just smiled.
