The actress, who is known for her V-shaped face and defined cheekbones, was observed with a rounder face and puffy cheeks, sparking rumours that she has had procedures done to her face.

Another rumour stated that the actress has been having insomnia since her ex-husband Nicholas Tse's rekindled romance with Faye Wong made headlines, and that her new look was caused by too many pills.

However, according to People News, while it is true that Cecilia has been popping pills, it was actually to treat her hyperthyroidism, and that the side effect has caused her to look swollen.

Meanwhile, ex-husband Nicholas Tse was unfazed by recent rumours of her new romance with property developer-turned-movie-investor Sun Donghai.

The actor, who was spotted at the airport after the Lunar New Year recently, was quoted saying, "I don't pay attention to gossip news."
