David Beckham on THAT H&M Ad Showing During Super Bowl: 'It Was Kind Of Embarrassing'

07/02/2012: UPDATED David Beckham has revealed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that the hunky H&M Bodywear commercial, shown in front of 111 million people at Sunday's Super Bowl, made him blush when it came on TV. Aww. 'I'm very shy,' the footballer said. 'When we were watching the Super Bowl yesterday in a room of about 20 people and it came on and I actually didn't know where to look. It was kind of embarrassing. The kids loved it but they were also embarrassed as well because there was other people in the room.' Take it from us DB, there is nothing you need to be bashful about!

The video is the first commercial for David's Bodywear range for H&M and will make its debut during the Super Bowl this Sunday. We'd happily buy American football tickets just to catch a glimpse of His Royal Hotness in super-size, full-motion glory. Luckily, we can watch it from the comfort of our own desks thanks to the high-street chain's YouTube channel, where this video has just landed. Quite honestly, it's almost too much gorgeousness for one Tuesday morning (we said almost).

"My design team and I spent 18 months developing the collection," the footballer-turned-designer said of his latest venture. "It's been a fantastic collaborative experience, and I'm very happy with the end result." And so are we, Mr B. The 30-second ad focuses on the 36-year-old's rippling muscles, hunky face and sexy kecks as he poses to the song 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood' by The Animals. It's no wonder heat magazine voted him the sexiest man on the planet in their 101 Hottest Hunks List.

Of course, we already know Mr Beckham looks mighty fine in such a state of undress thanks to those droolsome Emporio Armani ads, also shot in black-and-white, which we can't help but be reminded of. Although David is looking (whisper it) somewhat less toned and has the addition of an extra tatt or two — check out that inking in honour of his son Romeo. How sweet.
