Which day of the week is best for sex?

If you only have time for sex once a week, make it a Thursday as, according to sexperts, the fourth day of the working week has us at our natural peak for getting down and dirty.

Researchers at the London School Of Economics have declared that Thursday morning is the absolute best for having sex, due to the fact that our natural cortisol levels, which stimulate those sexy hormones, are at their highest on this day. That means that men and women are in sync in the bedroom department - what more excuse do you need to get jiggy with it!

Anyone else have a feeling that a lotta people are going to be showing up late to work on Thursday mornings from now on?

However, if you're looking for love rather than lust, you need to pencil Wednesday in as your day to go searching for The One. Why? Well, according to Which? magazine, survey results show that 40% of folks are more likely to prepare for a date on a Friday organised on a Wednesday. And, thanks to this careful planning, such people are usually more likely to find the relationship a successful one.

Annoyingly, you'll have to find the love of your life the day AFTER you go out for dinner with someone else, as Tuesday has been declared the best day for eating out at a restaurant. It's got something to do with the fact that most restaurants don't get deliveries over the weekend, so you're guaranteed fresher and better ingredients.

If things go really well on your week of love, pencil the wedding in for Friday. Despite the fact that, traditionally, weddings fall on a Saturday, having your do one day earlier can knock down the price of the reception and ceremony by half.

It looks like we're going to be busy girls next week then...
