Eun Ji-won joins "Answer to 1997"

18 July – Clover's leader and former Sechs Kies' rapper, Eun Ji-won, will be joining a new tvN sitcom titled "Answer to 1997".

According to Koreaboo, on 12 July, a press conference was held to announce the upcoming sitcom with its main cast in attendance. Other than Eun Ji-won and the other cast members such as Seo In-guk, Lee Si-Eun, A Pink's Jung Eun-ji and Infinite's Hoya, 90s singers Tony Ahn and Moon Hee-joon were also there to give their support.

Scheduled to debut on 24 July, "Answer to 1997" is a sitcom that tells the story of six former Busan high school friends who reunite in 2012. They then reminisce about their teenage years in 1997.

The upcoming 16-episode drama will focus on the excessive fan culture that emerged in the 90s as it was the time when idol groups started to form. The movie's narrative will move between the 1990s and the present day.
