Formula One game F1 2011 is making its way to the PlayStation Vita as part of the new handheld's launch line-up, with a trailer here to highlight its selling points.
With single-player seasons present as expected, there's multiplayer racing for up to four players online, plus time trial head-to-heads and bite-size challenges more suited to short bursts of play.
F1 2011 is Codemasters' third title to use the Formula One motorsport license, released initially on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and then on the Nintendo 3DS.
It came after F1 2010, the series's first outing on HD platforms, and F1 2009, which paved the way on Wii, iPhone, and the Vita's predecessor, the PSP.
It joins competing rubber-burners Asphalt Injection, Ridge Racer, ModNation Racers: Road Trip, MotorStorm: RC and Wipeout 2048 as part of the Vita's launch line-up -- but is the only one to fit snugly within the
simulation genre, without the trappings of an arcade racer.
Sony's in-house franchise Gran Turismo is conspicuous in its absence, not yet confirmed as a potential Vita title.
