Garuda opens 24-hour sales and service office at Hotel Borobudur

24-hour service: Open around the clock, its new office's services will include booking reservation requests, ticket purchases, city check-in, GarudaMiles frequent flyer program services as well as other pre-flight services.

Garuda Indonesia has officially inaugurated its new sales and service office at the lobby of Hotel Borobudur on Jl. Lapangan Banteng Selatan in Central Jakarta on Thursday. Interestingly, it will also serve as the airline's only 24-hour office in Indonesia to cater to customers who require greater flexibility with regard to time.

"The opening of this new 24-hour office at Hotel Borobudur is in line with our commitment to always answering all of our customers' demands, especially to be able to access our service anytime they need to," said Garuda Indonesia sales and marketing director Erik Meijer on a press release on Thursday.

Open around the clock, the new office's services will include booking reservation requests, ticket purchases, city check-in, GarudaMiles frequent flyer program services as well as other pre-flight services. Thus the national flag carrier's customers will have another flexible option to change their reservations or use the city check-in service, apart from Garuda's 24-hour call center.

Design-wise, the office offers an Indonesian-style interior adorned with Batik Kaung and Tenun fabrics and two service counters.

The five-star Hotel Borobudur was chosen by Garuda due to its prime location at the center of Jakarta and its high occupancy rate.
