A giant sinkhole, over 60 metres long and the size of four football fields, has caused the collapse of a state highway in the US state of Ohio.
The government's Department of Transportation thinks dredging for sand may have eroded land at the edge of a pond and it could be months before permanent repairs can be made.
Meanwhile, the sinkhole is causing major traffic delays and detours in Ohio's Dover Township.

Singaporean director Anthony Chen described as “surreal” the 15-minute standing ovation that followed the world premiere of his debut feature film "Ilo Ilo" at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday.
