Huang Yi welcomes baby girl
27 Jan – Chinese actress Huang Yi and husband, Huang Yiqing recently welcomed their first baby into their new family.
As reported on Groove Asia website, Huang Yi delivered her bundle of joy on 19 January through Caesarean section at a hospital in Los Angeles. Huang Yi's good friend, Chinese actress Li Bingbing first confirmed the good news by uploading a photo taken with Huang Yi and congratulating her for the new addition to her family.
When asked about the baby, a representative of Huang Yi's company, vaguely replied, "Huang Yi hopes that her family can be given some privacy. No matter what, we would give her our biggest well wishes, and thank everyone for their concern."
However, the actress' husband recently revealed six pictures of their newborn baby girl on his microblog, and commented, "She is so lovely. I thank God for giving me such a precious birthday gift. Love is amazing because of you."
The 33-year-old actress married husband, Huang Yiqing August last year, but had been keeping mum about her pregnancy until she was seen shopping for baby clothes with a big tummy, in Los Angeles.
