Huang Yi's husband says she has mental problems

27 Nov – Yiqing Huang, the husband of Chinese singer-actress Huang Yi shocked the public recently when he made accused his wife of being mentally unstable.

Sina website reported that on 24 November, Yiqing Huang posted several shocking accusations against Huang Yi on Weibo, in which he claimed that the actress is bipolar.

He stated that the 34 year-old actress often disappeared from home with their 11-month-old baby daughter, adding, "If you are mentally unstable, you will slowly but surely disregard your own child. When you lose control of your emotions, you will become hysterical and scold her. You even grabbed her from others. She is so terrified of you that she can't stop crying."

He also attached a vague clip of a man quarrelling with a woman with a baby crying in the background. Although the faces were hidden by a hand blocking the lens, the woman's voice has been identified as Huang Yi's.

He also accused Huang Yi of loving herself more than her own baby, and that she is one of those people who use their child as a tool. He added that the actress only pretended to be feeble to gain others' sympathy but she showed her real self once behind closed doors.

Yiqing hinted that he wanted a divorce and he hopes Huang Yi will return home to sign the papers immediately.

Meanwhile, the actress seemed unfazed by her husband's actions as she was seen in a cheerful mood at a golf event recently.

After separating from her first husband in 2010, Huang Yi married businessman Yiqing Huang in August last year. She gave birth to their daughter in January this year.
