Kate Hudson's son wants to wear a neon tux to her wedding.
The actress is yet to set a date for her nuptials to fiancé Matt Bellamy, but nine-year-old Ryder has already chosen his outfit. Kate revealed her fashion forward son is developing a unique taste in clothes.
"He apparently wants to wear a neon green tux - I'm all for it," she laughed to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday. "He loves neon green. He wants to wear neon green with black. That's pretty cool, he's a bit of a fashion boy."
Kate also admitted Ryder - her child with ex-husband Chris Robinson - is putting pressure on her to wed Muse rocker Matt.
"I think he looks forward to more the party than actually the idea of us getting married. He seems to have it really planned out, what he’s wearing," she smiled.
Kate and Matt have been engaged since 2011 and they have two-year-old son Bingham together.
In June, Matt revealed that they may finally tie the knot in 2014.
“Hopefully next year," the 35-year-old musician replied when asked when he and Kate will get married.
Kate has previously admitted the pair are simply too busy to plan a wedding.
"I think until the day we get married, the answer is going to be, 'We have no intention right now of getting married.' And then you'll find out we got married," she said recently.
Kate's tennis skills were also tested during her appearance on Ellen's TV show.
During the summer, the 34-year-old actress played tennis in a ballgown at a charity event in London. Ellen was eager to see Kate repeat her performance, and this time she dressed up in an ornate gold gown with a large hooped skirt.
The TV star instructed Kate to strike tennis balls at targets, and each one she hit was worth $1,000 for breast cancer research. She embraced the challenge, and with some help, managed to raise $10,000 for the good cause.© Cover Media
