Inter defender Ivan Cordoba has expressed his dismay with his side's performance in Sunday's 4-0 Serie A loss away to Roma, and feels the Nerazzurri have to "start all over again" after a string of bad results.
The 2010 Champions League winners have collected only one point from their last three league games and were also eliminated from the Coppa Italia, and Cordoba is of the opinion that Inter need continuity to return to winning ways.
"We have to start all over again with humility and remember that there are still so many matches left to allow us to get among the leaders," Cordoba was quoted as saying on the official Inter website.
"It was a match we didn't get to grips with; we didn't fight for every ball: when this is missing things get complicated.
"We were slow in every position. Generally speaking, they [Roma] played a type of game that caused us to suffer. To stay at the top of the table you need continuity. We must realise that we can't play like we did today again."
Inter currently sit fifth in the Serie A table with 36 points from 22 matches.
