"James Bond" starts filming December

15 Sep – A confirmed filming date has finally been set for the 24th "James Bond" movie. Filming will commence on 6 December 2014, taking place mostly at Pinewood.

Originally reported to start filming on October 2014, the date has to be pushed due to script rewrites. Now that a confirmed date has been set, fans can breathe easy knowing that the movie will hit the cinemas come November 2015.

As mentioned, the movie will be filmed at Pinewood Studios in England. However, according to Morocco World News, the movie will also be filmed at several other locations including Austria, Rome and Morocco.

"Skyfall" grossed over USD 1 billion worldwide after its release back in 2012, making it the highest grossing movie in the long-living franchise. It stars Daniel Craig as the titular British Secret Service agent.

Craig first appeared as the fictional agent Bond in 2006 Bond movie "Casino Royale", then later in 2008's "Quantum of Solace" and of course, most recently in 2012's highly acclaimed Sam Mendes-directed "Skyfall".

Craig will be appearing in just two more Bond movies before handing his badge in, so to speak. The "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" actor will be making his exit from the series as soon as the 25th Bond movie wraps up.

Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris are set to return for "James Bond 24" (working title). Casting is still ongoing, especially for the part of the villain. As this movie and the upcoming 25th Bond movie will be tied to "Skyfall", the 23rd movie in the series, it is possible that the villain will last for more than one movie.

In related news, Daniel Craig will be making a cameo in the seventh installment of the "Star Wars" movie franchise. The British actor is a big fan on the movie and has reportedly wrapped up filming his part. However, no further details have been released and fans will just have to wait until the movie hits the cinemas in December 2015 to spot the actor in his cameo role.
