Jason Derülo reveals long-distance anniversary

Jason Derülo celebrated his anniversary with Jordin Sparks over skype.

Both stars have experienced increased success in their singing careers since they first met. The downside is they have had to spend time apart - including their one-year anniversary at the beginning of August, which was spent chatting online.

“We just celebrated our one-year anniversary. It was awesome,” Jason gushed to Australian Radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. “I was very far away but we celebrated through skype! Were we in the bath? Something like that!”

The pair also publicly exchanged anniversary messages to each other on August 1.

“When the unexpected, turns out to be the greatest gift. My life was changed one year ago 2day...#milestones (sic),” Jason tweeted.

Jordin was quick to reply and express her feelings for the star.

“A year ago, I never imagined a love like this! Happy Anniversary @jasonderule!” Jordin gushed.

While Jordin has been busy with her new movie Sparkle, Jason is in Australia working on his latest venture, TV show Everybody Dance Now.

Jason appears in the new series with Destiny’s Child star Kelly Rowland and although he is excited about the project, he has been missing Jordin.

“I’m by myself but she will come and visit. We are filming in Melbourne for two and a half months,” Jason continued. “It’s going to be unbelievable dancing. A game of strategy. I’m excited.”
