Jay Chou has no need for sex and nudity
15 Jul – Taiwanese musician-turned-filmmaker Jay Chou light-heartedly called himself a "jade male singer" in reference to his refusal to film any erotic scenes for his films.
China Times reported that while promoting his new film, "The Rooftop", in Singapore recently, Jay stressed that he will never showcase sex and nudity in all his directorial efforts ever.
The 34-year-old singer expressed, "I am a singer and I want to maintain my image. I have never kissed anyone so passionately in over a decade of my career."
He added, "Scripts should be filtered and contain no such things."
Jay believed that sex and nudity are just gimmicks and that a movie will be much more romantic if there is some space left for the viewers' imagination.
