Jay Chou in Singapore
28 June - Asian pop star Jay Chou will be making his comeback during the "Loud Festival" concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 7 along with Landy Wen and Sodagreen, according to a report by Channel News Asia website.
The concert will see Jay giving solo performances of his signature tunes on the piano and guitar.
However, he won't be the only attraction at the two-hour concert.
Popular Taiwan band Sodagreen will also perform at the concert, along with Taiwanese singer Landy Wen, who will be performing crowd favourites like "North Star", as well as some dance songs.
Newcomer Cindy Yen, the first artiste signed by Chou's music company JVR Music in 2009, will also make a special appearance.
Five months earlier, Jay was in Singapore with Hollywood actor, Seth Rogan and director Michael Gondry to promote the movie blockbuster, "The Green Hornet" which had an opening weekend domestic gross of US $33.7 million, topping the U.S. movie box office in its first week of release. Jay played Kato in the movie.
Ticket sales for the "Loud Festival" concert will begin on 7 July.
