15 Aug – Taiwanese singer Jay Chou recently challenged the media by saying "we'll talk when you manage to photograph us" when it came to his rumoured girlfriend Hannah Quinlivan. This brought on a new wave of speculations that the singer might have the intention of exposing their relationship, according to the Xin MSN website.
It was Hannah's 18th birthday on 12 August and it is rumoured that Jay is currently on vacation with the young model to celebrate her coming of age.
Hannah's management agency responded to the rumour, saying that the model is currently visiting her father, who lives in Australia.
However on 6 August, Hannah updated her microblog, claiming that she had already celebrated her birthday with her father and shared a photo of her birthday cake with a caption, "At the end of the day, my dad is the guy who made me cry."
Coincidentally, Jay's whereabouts since he met Korean actress Kim Tae-Hee on 7 August is currently unknown.
Jay 'missing in action' fuelled speculations that Hannah might have left Australia after celebrating her birthday with her father, to meet up with Jay for a vacation.
Responding to the rumour, Jay's company expressed, "We do not respond on questions regarding our artistes' personal schedules."
They also revealed that Jay's next public performance would be his concert in Shenyang, China on 27 August.
According to an insider, "Hannah is currently taking on fewer jobs and is putting her focus on Jay". On Chinese Valentines' Day, the rising starlet updated her microblog, "Valentines' [day] isn't special, but love makes it special."
