Jolin: "Jay Chou deserves better"

Jolin: "Jay Chou deserves better"

25 May – Asian star Jay Chou appeared in front of 25,000 fans during the encore session of Jolin Tsai's "MySelf World Tour" in Shanghai several nights ago but it was decidedly less steamy than Jay's "Era World Tour" session with her last year.

Jolin sang the sad ballad "Nothing Left To Say" in front of a revolving letter 'J' with Jay playing the piano behind the prop. As the letter 'J' prop revolved to show Jay, Jolin removed her long gown to reveal her legs and slowly climbed onto the piano to flirt with Jay.

Hand in hand, the pair then walked towards the audience and even had their faces pressed against each other for a moment. However, the couple seemed stiff in their performance and their collaboration this time was visibly less steamy compared to their duet at Jay's "The Era World Tour" concert last year.

Clearly, Jolin's current romance with New Zealand model Vivian Dawson could be a reason for the unexciting duet.

Fans speculate that the song sang by the "Double J" couple was a sign of them putting an end to their 10-year relationship. However, Jolin clarified saying: "We didn't want to pick his song as it won't be much of a surprise," while Jay commented: "It is just a performance - the media don't have to be too sensitive on the song we picked."

The pop princess also spoke coolly about her former lover: "I know him well but I can't just follow everything he says. I feel our relationship now is like the friendship I have with Show Luo, whom I don't see very often but would never run out of topics to share."

When asked if they would get back together, Jolin replied: "He deserves better."
