Kanye West will not be showing his latest collection at Paris Fashion Week.
The rapper has presented designs from his DW by Kanye West line for the past two seasons, but has now opted out of the coveted show in the French capital next week.
His pieces received critical reviews, despite drawing an impressive front row audience, which included Anna Wintour and style icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
“Kanye West will not return to Paris Fashion Week to show his DW by Kanye Spring/Summer 2013 collection," reports WWD .
"The move follows two seasons of poorly-received shows,” adds British newspaper The Telegraph. “None of the clothing ever made it into stores - except for a $6,000 (£3,700) pair of shoes designed in collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, which were stocked in Paris boutique Colette.”
Kanye has recently focused on other ventures, including appearances on girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
However, Kim and Kanye are rumoured to be considering a joint shoe line, after the rapper was reportedly seen with the CEO of high-fashion conglomerate PPR.
