Kate Beckinsale co-star: Our scenes were fantasy

Kate Beckinsale’s Underworld catsuit made for a “strange fantasy-slash-torture session” while filming, says her co-star.

Kris Holden-Ried appears alongside Kate in the newest instalment of the film franchise, Underworld: Awakening.

The actor says his scenes with the Hollywood beauty were awkward to say the least.

“She was great. We had three days of filming in an underground basement, which just happens to be the part where I’m naked and covered in blood. The blood had to be kept the same for continuity, so I couldn’t sit down or put any clothes on to cover myself,” he told SciFi Now magazine.

“I was literally standing there with a little olive leaf over my privates with Kate Beckinsale, who was wearing PVC, so it was kind of like some strange fantasy-slash-torture session. It made for interesting conversation over the water cooler!”

Kris stars as Quint Lane the mutated lycan in the new 3D action horror film. The Canadian wanted to look good on screen.

“I had to get myself in good shape. You know, you’re standing there naked on a big screen in 3D, so you’re gonna be watching your waistline,” he exclaimed.
