Kim Kardashian: Friends know the real me

Kim Kardashian says her friends know the “real me”.

The reality TV star explained that most of her pals aren’t in the showbiz industry and have known her before she became famous.

The 31-year-old, who went to school with fellow socialite Paris Hilton, shot to fame when a sex tape featuring her and ex-boyfriend Ray J was leaked.

The savvy IT girl has since established a career with a number of fly-on-the-wall TV shows, modelling work and the launch of a chain of fashion boutiques.

“I like to catch up with friends - and most of them aren’t famous,” she told British magazine more! when asked what she gets up to once the cameras stop rolling. “They’re all married and have babies! But we’ve all known each other since we were kids and I feel totally comfortable with them - they know the ‘real’ me.”

Kim also talked about her younger brother Rob and her two teenage half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

The brunette beauty said she hopes life with three sisters has given Rob an insight into the female mind.

She added that she would advise the young Jenner sisters, who have been making waves in the fashion industry, to stay true to themselves.

“He’s his own man, but hopefully we’ve helped him to understand women better than the average guy,” she said of Rob. “[I would tell Kendall and Kylie] Be true to yourselves - and family comes first.”
