Kimura Yuichi to marry Nishikata Ryo

7 Feb – Japanese comedian Kimura Yuichi and actress Nishikata Ryo, who have currently been dating for three years as of this year, have finally decided to register their marriage on this coming 8 May, according to Tokyograph.

The 48-year-old entertainer revealed the good news during a taping of the variety show "Oh! Doyagao Summit".

Kimura and 31-year-old Nishikata's relationship was first announced back in 2009, and the couple got engaged just last November. The two met when Nishikata made her acting debut in "Nisesatsu", which was Kimura's first film as a director.

Kimura said they chose the date to be 8 May because it fell between the marriage date of Kimura's parents, which was 6 May and Nishikata's parents, which was 9 May.

Hopefully this will be Kimura's last marriage, seeing as it is his fourth one since he last exchanged rings with talento Emiri Henmi between 2006 and 2008.
