Korean group Leader'S to have 24 members

31 Oct – If you think it hard enough to remember all the names of SNSD nine members, wait till you see the larger girl group that is emerging.

According to koreaboo, the new group, Leader'S will have a total of 24 members, made up of three sub-groups with eight members each.

Leader'S initially debuted earlier in the year with seven members with the song "Please" before becoming an eight-member team with the singles, "Kiss Me" and the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics song "Korea Olympics" in September.

Leader'S management agency TNG Entertainment stated that the group is being expanded to a total of 24 members. The sub-groups are called Leader'S T, Leader'S G, and Leader'S N, with the Leader'S T being the sub-group that promoted "Kiss Me."

Their agency stated, "The idea of the group is inspired from the Japanese girl group AKB48. "Unlike other girl groups, the concept of Leader'S will have a more friendly image which fans will likely be comfortable with."

Netizens however were not really amused with the creation of a 24-member group. Some are saying that it is just ridiculous while others stated that "there is no need to have 24 members if their voices are mediocre".
