Kuroki Meisa cancels appearances

14 Feb – Recently married Japanese actress-singer Kuroki Meisa has cancelled all her upcoming appearances due to her 'physical condition', fuelling speculations that the rumours of her being pregnant may be true afterall.

According to Tokyo Hive, Kuroki's official website announced that the release event for her newest album "Unlocked" on February 17 has been cancelled, the reason being for her 'physical condition and in consideration of various circumstances'.

The announcement also revealed that Kuroki has also cancelled all her schedule appearances on several television programmes, including TBS's "Coming Soon!".

"We are truly sorry for this sudden development right before the release date but we have concluded to cancel the release event for the new album at this point in time," the website wrote.

When news of her marriage with former KAT-TUN member Akanishi Jin was reported on a newspaper, Kuroki was also reported to be two months pregnant. To date, both the couple and their agency have confirmed the marriage, but neither of them had yet to mention anything regarding Kuroki's rumoured pregnancy.
