Malaysian rescue personnel have recovered the body of the last person missing from a helicopter crash on Borneo island that killed three people, according to police.
Architect Henry Lau's body was found floating near the mouth of the Lingga river in Malaysia's Sarawak state on Sunday, two days after the privately owned Eurocopter crashed in bad weather, state police chief Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said.
The craft's German pilot Rico Steger, 35, was the only survivor. He was rescued by local fisherman after swimming for four hours. The bodies of the two other passengers -- a surveyor and an engineer -- were recovered earlier.
The three Malaysians were reportedly on their way to inspect a school in Sarawak's interior.
The helicopter's wreckage has not yet been found, Acryl Sani said, adding the cause of the crash was being investigated.
Also on Friday in the nearby sultanate of Brunei, 12 military personnel including six cadets were killed in an air force helicopter crash while flying home after jungle training.
Two military cadets survived the crash of the Bell 212 military aircraft but were injured.
Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia share Borneo island, much of which is dense jungle.
