WASHINGTON (AP) — Group coupon site LivingSocial has agreed to acquire TicketMonster Inc., a South Korean deal site with 2 million members in South Korea and Malaysia, the company said Tuesday.
Financial terms were undisclosed. When it closes, the deal will bring the total number of countries LivingSocial operates in to 23.
The Washington, D.C.-based site has been expanding in Asia. It also operates in the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia.
All 600 TicketMonster employees will join LivingSocial.
