Man's body found in waters of Punggol Waterway

A man’s body was found in the waters of Punggol Waterway on Wednesday (15 August).

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the incident at 7.20am and that the body of a man in his 30s was found in a canal near Block 316C Punggol Way. An SCDF paramedic pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Yahoo News Singapore understands that the deceased is believed to be an Indian foreign worker. Police are investigating the unnatural death.
