Mauro Obolo delighted with 'dream' Velez Sarsfield start

Velez Sarsfield's new arrival Mauro Obolo could not hide his delight with how his time in Liniers had begun after another goalscoring performance and affirmed that his first four matches have been a dream come true.

The striker, who signed for the 2011 Clausura champions from Arsenal de Sarandi in January, netted the opening goal in the Fortin's 3-0 triumph over Chivas on Wednesday evening, propelling them to the top of their Copa Libertadores group with six points from the first two games.

Obolo's goal means that he has scored four times in as many matches for Velez and the 30-year-old was over the moon with life at the Argentine club.

"Starting with four goals is a dream for me. It is easy to settle at a club when you have players of this class around you," the forward beamed to reporters after the final whistle.

"I am getting used to beating my marker and I am learning certain moves. Before I used to run more, now I have to play in the area and make space so that I can finish off a play."

Obolo started his career at Velez and also had spells in Europe with Piacenza, Burgos and AIK before returning to Argentina with Arsenal in 2010.
