Michelle Obama Has Joined Pinterest: SQUEAL!

Michelle Obama on Pinterest

She is one of our favourite first ladies. And now we love Michelle Obama even more after she joined Pinterest this week – and posted previously unseen snaps of her and President Obama in the White House.

Mobama put the 12 photos on her new boards – Around the White House; Great Memories and Father’s Day. Signing her pins ‘mo’ (we LOVE her!), she already has more than 20,000 followers for each one. (Including us, obvs).

Our faves are candid shots of her working out with the Biggest Loser team, a shot of her kissing husband Obama and a black and white snap of their wedding day in 1992.

And while she’s written little captions under each photo, it seems she’s not the one doing all the pinning. Instead, the boards are officially run by President Obama’s re-election campaign team. The US elections are in November.

At the moment, the First Lady only follows her husband… his Pinterest page includes a recipe for the Obama family chilli.

So will we be seeing Samantha Cameron and Valerie Trierweiler following suit? Watch this space…
