One of the most important events in the super yacht calendar, The Monaco Yacht Show kicks off on September 19 and runs until September 22. This year the show will include a total of 103 superyachts.
The 22nd edition of the Monaco Yacht Show is showcasing a fleet of 103 superyachts for four days, turning the Port Hercules marina into the host for some of the world's biggest and most luxurious vessels. The latest designs and constructions will be seen by more than 28,000 visitors including industry experts.
This year's selection includes more than 100 boats, from 25 to 90 meters (82 to 295 ft) in length. In addition, over 500 exhibitors will be presenting their latest accessories such as cars, jets, watches, gadgets, and toys for boat owners. The show thi year includes some of the biggest super yacht manufacturers such as OceAnco, Lurssen, Feadship, Azimut and Benetti, among others.
Among the brands taking part in this year's show are the car maker BMW, the watch company Ulysee Nardin, crystal maker Baccarat and aviation company Bombadier Aerospace.
During the show organizers will grant the MYS Prix du Design award to the boat with the most innovative design. Last year the award was granted to yacht SATORI (50m or 164ft) from the shipyard Heesen Yachts, with an interior design by Remi Tessier.
Yacht enthusiasts will be able to attend other international shows this year including the 52nd edition of the Genoa International Boat Show taking place between October 6 and 14 in Italy. Genoa, one of the world's biggest shows, will have over 1,300 exhibitors.
The 52nd edition of The Salon Nautique de Paris will follow Genoa's show. Starting on December 7 and running until December 16, Paris attracts some of the most famous French and international names as well as exhibitors of sailing equipment and water sports.
