France international footballers Samir Nasri, Yann Mvila, Hatem Ben Arfa and Jeremy Menez have been called to appear before a disciplinary commission of the French Football Federation (FFF) on Friday morning to answer for their behaviour during the Euro 2012 tournament.
The four risk being suspended for bringing French football into disrepute just two years after the fiasco of France's 2010 World Cup campaign during which another four players Nicolas Anelka, Patrice Evra, Franck Ribery and Jeremy Toulalan received varying suspensions for their behaviour.
While calling four before the disciplinary commission, FFF president Noel Le Graet has however deemed the Euro 2012 behaviour as less serious than the player revolt in South Africa and has suggested a simple warning rather than a suspension could be on the cards.
Nasri will answer for a foul-mouthed tirade against journalists after France's Euro 2012 exit, Ben Arfa for a dispute with coach Laurent Blanc in the dressing room after their 2-0 loss to Sweden, Menez for rebukes against captain Hugo Lloris and insulting a referee, and Mvila for returning to the bench during their 2-0 loss against Spain without shaking his hands of Blanc and substitute Olivier Giroud.
Blanc has been called to give evidence but will not be obliged to do so.
